I just found this Earth Cam, street view from The Cat’s Meow at the corner or Bourbon St and St Peter St.<\/p>\n

Wouldn’t it be cool to be there at a pre-arranged time and wave to family and friends back home?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

We did the same thing, with son at home on computer as we stood in front of the Tropical Isle Webcam corner of Bourbon & Orleans. Here is a link to that camera. FYI, it refreshes every couple of minutes.<\/p>\n

We have a great shot from there of Bill and I holding a sign that says,\u00c2\u00a0 Hi Kids! Send money!<\/p>\n

I’ve done this with the Jackson Square<\/a> webcam on nola.com. One time, I have my friend look on there at a given time and she saw us. Another time, I was there and called my daughter at college and she saw my husband and I as we talked on the phone. She was able to save the picture for us.
